Barbara G. Mensch received her BFA from Hunter College in drawing and painting in 1978. By the early 80's while illustrating for several magazines, she became fascinated with photography. During this period she became a photo apprentice at Knoedler Gallery in New York where she assisted in photographing and printing artworks by Claude Monet and Alexander Calder. |
