Ivan Kuzmich Makarov (Russian: Иван Кузьмич Макаров, March 23, 1822, Saransk[a]—April 9, 1897, Saint Petersburg) was a Russian painter. He was a son of the serf painter Kuzma Aleksandrovich Makarov. Under the education of Alexey Markov, Ivan Makarov chose the portrait painting, participating also in paintings of Spassky Cathedral. |
